I am running WXP (SP2) and Office 2007 (Beta 2).
While working on my first PowerPoint presentation using this product
(converted from Office 2003), I find that my resources (using Task Manager)
periodically "peg" (i.e., use 95-100% of the resources when looking at the
Processes tab). I was working on this presentation for my wife and finally
moved the presentation over to an older PC with Office 2003, so I could
finish it sometime in this decade.
Does anyone have any idea what kind of setting in the PowerPoint options or
any guidance on what I can do to rectify this problem. I have not seen this
on any of the other Office 2007 programs that I use all the time (i.e.,
Outlook, although it is pretty slow looking through the mail folders, Word,
and Excel).
Thanks,
Kit Marty
