what services can i safley disable

hi there, i was wondering, what services i can safley disable? cause there
are some i dont hink i need, like the printer service, i aint got a printer,
and some others.

also what services must i allow access to the internet for? i ask because
"generic host process" constantly want to connect to site i never heard of,
and some sites dont exist
