One of the innovations that the new incerdible, awesome, e.t.c. Windows Vista
is going to bring is a notification of which processes slow down the system
"Processes" are programms that run on the backround, and offer some services
to the user. However, windows cant distinguish the beneficial processes from
the "bad" processes (called daemons in linux, which of cource can distinguish
them)
In an attemt to reduce the number of "bad" processes that waste resources
for no reason, the new vista will notify you of the processes that slow down
the system, with a screen like this
http://us.gizmodo.com/gadgets/images/vista_error.gif
ACCORDING TO THE SCREEN WHAT SLOWS DOWN WINDOWS VISTA IS WINDOWS VISTA
ITSELF!!
I know that the product is still on beta, so the guys at microsoft are
surely going to fix this. Perhaps by adding an exception for these
processes... Dont forget that the release date is jan 2007 and few things can
change know.
after all, anybody knows that Vista is going to be the new big "fatware"
(after Windows 2000 professional) Too many requierments for some graphic
effects...

-MS-DOS: Simply the best OS!
-Windows: The OS we love to hate...
-Linux: The OS of computer scientologists, not computer scientists.
