What process is utilizing the hard disk

Does anyone know of software that would show me what process is using
my hard disk? Often I'll see the disk access light on, but I'm not
actively doing anything on the computer, and I'd like to know what
program is using the disk. Thanks. --Jeff

Proably your OS, but anyway, try Filemon from
<http://www.sysinternals.com/>.
