What are the permissions required for an administrator (not "The
Administrator") to be able to browse to, open, copy, move, edit, and save a
file/folder?
Do these permissions need to be set individually for every root-level folder
on my machine? Or is there a more efficient way to accomplish the same
thing?
I actually like the UAC, and do not want to disable it, but I noticed that
sometimes it interferes with routine file operations. None of the folders
on my computer require any restrictions. I created all the folders myself
with Win2000 or WinXP and it seems that Vista does not like this.
This is not a multi-boot system. All OSes are independent from each other
on separate system disks. I choose the disk to boot to from bios.
