What old files can I delete?

I didn't do a fresh install of Vista. Now I would like to delete as many of
the old XP files as possible. Which can I safely remove?

Everything in the Windows.old folder.
 
I do not have a windows.old file in my computer. Please be professional and
keep your insulting remarks to yourself.
 
He didn't insult you. The "byline" after his name has been there for a long
time. Check other posts. It wasn't directed at you. A bit crabby are we?

If you are talking about " Light travels faster than sound.
This is why some people appear bright until you hear them
speak........." that is called a signature line. It is
normally kept as a seperate file and is added to all NG
messages sent from that newsreader. Don't take it personal as
it is not meant for you. Some people put something humerous
others may advertize whatever, or maybe make a political
statement.
