Im curios what can be done with data sharing. resource sharing.
so far, i have printed to a remote printer here at the house
all 3 of my pc's do have access to each other

im wondering if there is such a thing as using a remote processor for a
local program.

for example, I know Poser 3D animation software can make use of remote
processors to render content faster.

Im just curios what other things I can do across a network..
I wouldn't want to be living beneath my priveledge ;:^(})

Sadly, you need software designed to operate in this manner to use it - you
can't just point your software at a PC with a faster processor and say, "Run
there instead!" :-) The ability needs to be in the software you want to
use, not in Windows.

i did discover remote admin console (xp)
seems I can run remote programs, without having to get up
(they come in on my local monitor) that's cool.

I believe that, at least for command line applications, you can use a tool
like psexec form Sysinternal to do this. You can even tell it which
processor(s) to use.
