What name to use in the filter

Hello, when setting up an email filter on sender, what do you use to filter
on, the Display Name or the E-mail Address?
 
If they are contacts in your Contacts folder you can simply select them.
Basically it works on the address as some people like to change the display
name as if it is their MSN Messenger nickname.
