ASUS A8S-X motherboard.

Tried all the usual keys to try to get to BIOS menu during boot.
f5,f8,del key, all tried, tried them all?

Does anyone know which key I am suppose to press?

When the sistem boot it should be a note "to go to setings press....."

Nope ... But you might try holding down the control-key while it boots.
I've heard that works on a lot of systems.

Not sure about the A8S-X, but I have the P4c800-E DLX and use the "delete"
key to enter the BIOS mode. I'm not sure if it's the same for all Asus
MBs though.

One more thing to try.

In the old days, you could hold several random keys down while it's booting
and it would cause a keyboard error. At which point the system would beep,
report the error then display an option to press a certain key to go into
the setup.

There are other ways of forcing a system error during boot that might also
halt the system and have it display a prompt to enter the BIOS setup.

I'm not familiar with that particular motherboard, but it's the Delete key
on every motherboard I've owned over the last ten years or so.

However, TIMING can be very important. What I usually do is start tapping
the Delete key as soon as the boot process starts, and keep tapping it until
the BIOS menu comes up. That always works for me, and if I don't do that
often I can't get into the BIOS.

That is misplaced, especially coming from someone who can't cope
with correction.

Neil's answer was the correct response to the original poster who
asked about getting into the "BIOS". The follow-up author doesn't
have to know what the original poster meant to ask.
