I am working on a form with a subform in it. I have made
changes to the subform and tried to save them. I have
clicked the save icon, tried file | Save as | OK. Then
when I try to close the subform, I get the "Do you want to
save changes to the design of form 'Sub'?" I click Yes
even though I have already tried saving, and nothing
happens. I have tried making chages to the subform while
the form is open and tried opening the subform by itself
and making changes and still get the same thing. Why
won't the changes save? I have full rights to the DB as I
am the owner/creator. Can anyone help explain what has
happened? I worked on this copy yesterday, made changes
to the main form and they are there. Why can't I save
changes to the subform? Any suggestions will be
appreciated.

If you are trying to make design time modifications to
the subform within the form then you might have an issue.
I don't know if it's a bug or it's intended to be that
way. I think what you might want to do is open the
subform separately and make the necessary modifications
and then save it. The modifications will appear on the
main form whre the subform is being referenced.

I have also tried opening the subform and making and
saving there. It does not let me save. I have also
copied the DB to my PC and tried . No luck. I made sure
nobody else is using the DB even though ther are only 2 of
us here today. Every time I click "Yes" to save, nothing
happens. The only way I can even close the DB is to
select "no". I really do not understand what is wrong.

Hi Bobby
You may want to consider creating a new DB and
importing all the objects from the old db into it. Then
try again. The subform may be corrupted.

Hope This Helps
