What is WindowsXP Embedded?

I've seen the term a number of times, but I don't know
what "WindowsXP Embedded" is, or means. I have WindowsXP
Home addition, which came pre-loaded on my computer.
Does that mean that it is 'embedded', or is 'embedded' a
different version? If so, does it have any advantages
over the 'Home' edition?

First licenses prevents you for using it as general purpose OS.
It will take you months before you reach most of functionality from XP
Professional.

Should I continue?

But seriously, I don't expect to use more than say, 20% of
the functionality. - RM

This was the original question if I'm not mistaken.
I was just backing Heidi's response on this question.

If you need to make more than one build with special purpose than XPe is the
right solution to choose.

Ah, but I was answering Bill. Bill has Home edition. I suspect that your
situation is different to Bill's.
Personally, I wouldn't bother with XPe for a rollout of less than 20 boxes -
and I don't even know if it would be more viable than XPPro cost-wise for
that, as that's management's problem. I'm merely going from the point of
view of someone who has to make things work.
