Movie Maker 2 accepts VMA format for its sound options. Would someone know
what is vma format and in which applications is it used normally?

Also, is it just instrumental or vocal as well?

Thanks

WMA = Windows Media Audio
It is a compression technique for audio, and can be applied
to any audio - music, vocal, nature, flatuance etc etc.
Windows media player can "rip" audio to WMA.
Example, if you have a fav CD, you can copy tracks to
your hard drive with this compression technique.
They will then be WMA format, and if you wish you can
add them to your video production.

Many thanks for this. How do you suggest I copy tracks from a cd to my hard
drive using this technique? Is there a software you advise I use? Any
freeware or shareware out there available? Many thanks again. Yappy Box

====================================
You can *rip* a CD with Windows Media Player...
check the WMP help file for, "Rip tab options"
