My daughter bought a movie camera, and the installation disk said to
uninstall the UDF driver so the camera could install it's version. What is
UDF and how can I uninstall old version. Does Win XP have a UDF driver?

Visit the support website of the manufacturer of the new
movie camera and look for support assistance from the manufacturer.

UDF is a file system used in DVDs. This is presumably one of the new
Sony cameras that records direct to DVD. Normally the only UDF support
in XP arises if you have installed a 'packet writing' CD burning program
like Direct CD/InCD/DLA or in the 'codecs' that come with a DVD movie
player. I think you had better ask the maker's support just what they
are talking about
