What is txtsetup.oem?

Here is my problem:
When I am setting up windows 2000 on a laptop with nothing
on the harddrive and it has no interal floppy or cd-rom.
I have external floppy that has no problem getting
recognized but the problem comes when I setup needs to
find the cdrom drive. I have two availible to me. One is
USB and the other is a PCMCIA card. When promted to show
other media devices (F6)it will not recognize any drivers
except the one called txtsetup.oem. How can install
windows 2000? How do I get setup for 2K to recognize one
of the CD drives?

Briefly, your USB and PCMCIA CD-ROM manufacturers should be able to
provide you with a driver disk to insert after pressing F6. This
driver disk should enable Windows Setup to see the CD-ROM drive.

As an alternative, it is not hard to set yourself up for a
network-based install. See <http://unattended.sourceforge.net/>.
