Hi when I downloaded an access database from the server it also created an
..ldb file
What is it and is it safe to delete it
Thanks
Paul M

And bottom line from above link posted by Tom
- you can't delete it
(it will close and be deleted by Access when you close the DB

PS
never open your DB in your FP site (always export it), don't export it while it is open by any of your pages

Well, there are cases where you can delete it, and should. I have
occasionally seen it not get deleted on a web site for some odd reason.
Usually, I have to guess, this happens due to some sort of interruption on
the server. In any case, if you attempt to delete it, and you can, it isn't
harmful.

Thanks
It seems that it is produced when the database is locked for editing, in
this case someone in the office with the DIW
Thanks Paul M
