I think I'm getting security paranoia. ( isn't everyone
lately?) I've just installed McAfee 7, the full works,
and I'm not sure what all the messages my firewall keeps
asking me mean. Do I or do I not let the application
below access to my PC?

C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe

That's tough to say - that service manages so many good things.

It already HAS access to your PC, the question more than likely is "what is
it tryinng to acces/contact outside your machine?"
