When I try to send a message to the newsgroup, concerning a thread I
started - Help and Support Center missing, - and it refers to a posting by
someone who includes his email address with 'no spam' and I simply want to
add a screen shot as an attachment, I receive a message that it cannot be
delivered because it is too long. Could you please advise? I am using OE6 in
WindowsXP Pro SP3, with all the updates. I cannot believe that a message
that only containe a screen shot is too long.

These newsgroups are for text only (normally). So an attachment
probably adds too much size to the overall message.

You don't send email to a newsgroup. You post messages to a newsgroup.
Kinda splitting hairs, but that's the better terminology.

To add to what Big Al said, if you believe a screenshot is necessary (in
most cases, it is not) in solving your problem, you can upload the picture
to a binary newsgroup (they allow photos) and then provide directions on how
to view it. My advice is to fully describe your problem and skip the photo.
If someone cannot understand your problem description, they will undoubtedly
ask for clarification.
