Well, I would like to know the requirement to install Win XPe into a
Compact Flash... I tried already to activate the partition of the
Compact Flash with Bootprep.exe, and copy the files generated by the
command "Build Target Image" from Target Designer... But Win XPe
doesn't boot (error message "Disk Error Press any key to restart"...
I think the problem can be from the fact I did something wrong in
building the "Target Image" ( I'm not really an expert in it), or it
can be from the fact I might have forgot something to do for the
Compact Flash before copying the Image files...
To sum up the configuration of the motherboard I work on, it's a
PCM-9579, and the Compact Flash connected to the SDD integrated on the
board is detected as a secondary slave... I didn't manage to change
that fact... The Compact Flash's FAT partition was activated by
Bootprep.exe...
Anyway, if someone can tell me if I forgot something some procedures
to do on the Compact Flash, it would be very nice and would save some
time, preventing me to do unnecessary things that won't work anyway
because of those forgotten procedures...
