What is the REAL installation order for 4.3?

Hi all

I'm confused. the 4.3 Catalyst Driver Download page at:

http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/...&prod=productsXPdriver&submit.x=14&submit.y=8

starts with:

"Instructions:
1. Before you start, please read these installation tips."

The installation tips state:

"Locate the Display Driver download and double-click on it.
Restart once prompted.
Locate the ATI Control Panel (if included) download and double-click
on it.
Restart once prompted.
Locate the WDM Capture drivers and double-click on it. - ONLY
download if you have an AIW RADEON or RADEON VIVO family "

**** The order is Display Driver, Control Panel, WDM Capture Driver.

Howerver, in the matrix at the bottom of the page under "Additional
Info" for the WDM Capture Driver, there is a link for the Release Notes.
The Recommended Installation order is:

"ATI Technologies Inc. recommends the following installation order:

tv-capture-wdm-6-14-10-6227.exe driver file.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note: Do not restart Windows

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The recommended ATI Display Driver for your ATI graphic product.
Restart Windows. "

**** This order is WDM Capture Driver, then Display Driver. ****

Which is the correct order?
 
And yet under the release notes link, the order is Control Panel/display
driver/
And once when I called tech support they said just remove the driver..

So confusing..

Expert advice needed :-)

Hey guys,, i just reinstalled my driver and the control panel thingy
in that order,,, driver then control panel thing and not the wdm cuz
during install of control panel readin the install notes when u start
it it said only do the adm inf ya had somthing or used somthin else,,
dont rememeber what them two things were but i didnt need it,, i dl
it but so far aint needed it to run stuff,,, im using radeon family
card,, adios amigos

Agreed. But if you want to use the separate modules, and have a capture
card, I'd recommend the older installation order: capture driver (don't
reboot), display driver (reboot), control panel (reboot).
