Hi,

I have XP Pro and noticed the page file usage in Task Manager.

Mine at the moment is 346MB

Do these figures appear normal?

Paged 108244
NonPaged 41300

Thanks

MS advises 1.5MB times you installed RAM as an minimal optimal Swap
size.

Yes, but it's poor advice. The Page file acts as a substitute for RAM when
there isn't enough. So the more RAM you have, the *less* swap file you need.

Normally a starting number of 200MB or so is sufficient, but allowing it to
grow as necessary is wise.
