Are you trying to display an & on a webpage or what?

Hmm,
I wondered also

If the OP wants to know about codes which commence with &, here is a
reference
http://www.lookuptables.com/

However, to display "&", just use "&" (without the quotes).

It displays:
&

Is there something I wrote here that you don't get?
If so, I'll try again. If not, it may have been another post.

Al,

There are HTML codes that start with the symbol "&" such as ">" (which in
HTML code translates to the greater-than symbol '>')
These codes are what Trevor is referring to that commence with the &
symbol.

Otherwise, the '&' (ampersand) is used in the normal way as part of the
English language as a shortened form of the word "and".
