What is the correct format to play my movie in VCD reader

What is the correct format to make my movie to play in normal VCD reader.

Make it DV-AVI from Movie Maker and let your CD creation software do the
conversions needed from there.

please explain how do i convert the file to dv-avi. i tried ways and means
but i just can't view anything on my tv using a vcd player. Also please help
me on this too with regards to highmat. my dvd player doesn't recognise
highmat format. how do i remove highmat? please please please help!!!

Making a VCD is similar to making a DVD Video. Here is an overview of the
steps involved:

To make a VCD :
1. Save your movie to a hard disk (either in dv avi or one of the wmv
formats)
2. Convert your movie to MPEG1 using TmpGenc: http://www.tmpgenc.net
3. Author the VCD usng VCDEasy. http://www.vcdeasy.org
