I found a great deal on ink and bought a lot.
How should I store it to keep it fresh?
Refridgerator? Freezer?
Once I open it, how long should I expect it to work? (I only print a couple
of pages a week).
The brand I bought is Pelikan
Thanks!

Well when I brought my Printer some time back the Included cartridges look
like they had been stored in a fridge..

I think that freezing them could cause damage..

If you only print 2 pages a week, you wasted your money buying a load of cheap
ink.
Printers (or yourself) will have gone out of fashion before you've used half
your stock.

At best 6 months beyond the sell by date.

Please explain why.
What happens to the ink molecules after 6 months?

I would only guess that the water base would start to seperate such as
some paint with additives would. As for shelf life, who is to say
exactly how long ink is good for.Different formulas would have
different longevity. Ive talked to several vendors and they suggest
one to two years after opening. So who knows how long the ink was in
storage prior to shipment anyway.

Store it in a controled environment, air tight, no sunlight or
daylight, cool, dry place. I bet it will last as long as you own your
printer. Agitating the containers now and again wouldnt hurt either im
sure. Give a lil shake every couple months.
