I want to move my 2gb PST and related Outlook 2003 files to a new computer.
Anything I need to do besides install outlook on that computer and put files
in same location on new computer?

Just import your PST file to the new computer and have Outlook point to
it and you should be fine.

Never import a .pst file - COPY the file with Outlook completely closed. Then open it on the new computer.

Milly, Although I agree with your advice, what are the disadvantages of
"importing" the .pst file to his new PC? What are the advantages of
"Copy" verses "Export/Import"?

The "export/import" function was designed to facilitate movement of data
between Outlook and third party applications (Access, Excel, Word etc etc)
not between instances of outlook....
