what is the best way to display 2 queries on 1 report

I would like to create a report that lists records from (2) queries, what
would be the best way to accomplish this.
 
If the 2 queries can't be joined in another query then the remain option is
to place at least one query in a subreport. You can place the subreport in
the report footer of the main report.
 
What footer did you place the subreport into? Have you tried moving it
around slightly?
