what is the best Registry Cleaner

I encountered Registry Easy and i heared some good reviews about it, i read a review about it here:

Ccleaner is what i use, but you use a Reg cleaner at your own risk.

I don't use a registry cleaner.

I also would like someone to show me any hard evidence that registry cleaning actually improves performance, that doesn't come from the maker of the program.

There is way to much Registry “Cleaning” going on these days just for the sake of “cleaning”.

If you have to "play" at least use CCleaner, it doesn't usually screw you up.
