Hi,

I am new to Win 2000 and have been previously using WINMe where if i wanted
to see what programs are loading at startup, I yse to run msconfig command
and disable the one I didn't want to see in the TaskBar(where the clock is
normally). when I run the same command in Win2000, get an error. Is there a
different command in 2000.

cheers

Win2K doesn't use msconfig.exe.
But...if you have access to a computer with Win98, WinME, or XP just copy
the msconfig.exe from there and it will run just fine on your Win2K system.

Hello Asad,

While using MSConfig from a Windows XP system will work fine with your
Windows 2000 systems, using the one from Windows 98 or Windows ME will not
allow you to make changes to services.

Sorry Steph
