what is synchronize

can anybody explain what the synchronize feature in outlook express does in
relation to newsgroups
 
Hi,

Synchronize does exactly what the definition of word implies. It is a method
of "catching up". When you synchronize a newsgroup, it makes sure that the
messages you have available to you in the local store match that which is
available on the server.
