After installing Windows XP service pack 2 I get “Cannot start Microsoft
Office Outlook. The command line argument is not valid. Verify the switch
you are using.†Without quotes. When SP2 is removed all works well. What
can I do since SP2 is necessary?

So HOW are you starting Outlook? If using a shortcut, what are its
properties, particularly the command-line used to load it? What happens
if you load Outlook in safe mode ("outlook.exe /safe") to eliminate the
possibility that you have an add-in that isn't compatible?
