What is so special about .mdb files that...

I am unable to synhronize certain files in the Win2000 Briefcase folder.
These files are Microsoft Office XP: Access files with extension .mdb and
are on a different machine. All other files synchronize fine. I get a
message that the synchronize program was unable to open these files. Any
idea how to make it open them?

**THIS IS AN ASSUMPTION THAT THIS APPLIES TO USING A BRIEFCASE**

Although it is ill-advised, you can allow .mdb files to be synchronized by
changing the policy for offline files.

Thank you Ray. I tried your suggestion. It does not seem to apply to
Briefcase. Thanks anyway.
