"Software Development Kit for Windows Mobile 2003-based
Pocket PCs"

I see this promoted big-time, I have VS.NET 2003.
How can the SDK 2003 Help Me?

PPC SDK 2003 is required to be able to build applications that target
PPC2003 using VS.NET 2003
Think of the SDKs as plug-ins for Visual Studio (in this context). E.g. to
develop for Smartphone 2003 you need Smartphone 2003 SDK

I installed the SDK 2003 but I can't see any difference
in VS.NET. Don't you think I would get to choose (upon
creating a new "Smart Device Application") if I want to
develop for 2002 or 2003?

the "Tatget Platform" options are all still the same.

Hi Alex,
Does this mean that if I want to install VS.net 2003 on a clean machine I'll
have to install PPC2000, 2002 and 2003 SDK if I want to develop to these
platforms?

No, Studio 03 has a PocketPC SDK included already. You can add just the PPC
03 SDK.
