What is "registry policy"?

....this type of file This is the first time i prepared a Power Point
Presentation but i cannot save it as a Power Point Presentation. When I
attempt that save i receive a message "this type of file is blocked by your
registry policy". I wasn't aware I had a registry policy. Does anyone know
what I can do to get the presentation saved so my relatives can view it.

PowerPoint 2007 and PowerPoint 2003 SP3 Don't allow certain insecure file
types to be saved. This is set in the registry in 2003 and can be altered in
2007 it's not possible at all.

Which version do you use and are you trying to save as 95, 97-2003?
