what is ppp,pop3?

i have installed ms office 2003,but i am not able to work on outlook,could u
please tell me what is ppp,pop3 servers.

in which case you need help?
The pop3 Server and the SMTP Server are the servers who send/receive your
messages they are standing by your provider!
If you want to find out their names, please post your Provider and we could
help you more than now.
