WHAT IS POWERPOINT???

I have powerpoint, 97 version I believe and I have no
Idea what it is or how to utilise it properly. I have
looked up all the help documentation but nothing has
simple basic information about powerpoint. I just would
like to know what it is used for, what it does, how can I
get a tutorial or "wizard" to teach me how to utilise
this product simply and easily. All the help docs and
FAQs all seem to assume that you know what powerpoint
is......well......I don't lol. Could some one point me in
the right direction ???

Hi Mary Francis!

Welcome to the wonderful, fun filled world of PowerPoint! You have
certainly come to the right place to learn. The great folks here on this
newsgroup who look after us lambs, are very experienced, knowledgeable and
used to dealing with sorts of 'roots'.. :-)))

It's a great place to get started, you'll be up and running in no time.
Just keep in mind that, the only dumb question is one you don't ask. So,
just don your sneakers and jeans, and go for it!

P.S...I'm not blonde, but...they let me hang around anyway...they need

Oops! You said blonde and slow in the same sentence. That is not
politically correct. Refer to 'B' for the legal mumbo jumbo. ;-)
 
Well, 'B' is the signature of one the groupies here who had posted a funny
comment about lawyers (bottom of the sea thing) so I was tying in to that
post. 'A' is most likely the first letter of a non-positive, anatomical,
slang term used by many to refer to me. ;-)

Exactly. That must be what I meant. Or something similar, well, vaguely
similar, farther South somewhat....
