What is optimal resolution for PP images?

I don't do PP, but an associate needs me to prepare some images to use in a
projected presentation. The images will be the full size of the slide. What is
the preferred format and pixel size for this application? thanks, Dan
 
This depends on the resoultion of the projected image (1024x768 is probably
a good guess), and whether he plans to do any cropping of images. You
basically want to match the resolution of what is projected so if the
projector projects at 800 pixels X 600 pixels, then that is the optimal
resolution...unless he is cropping, in which case the final image should be
the resolution of what is projected.
