What is my CPU speed?

My computer says it has a P4 3.2 GHZ processor when I go to My Computer/Properties which is what it should have. However, I installed some software that had to do a check for system resources first. The Ram and Vram was correct but the CPU speed only indicated 1.102GHZ. Is there a way for me to "test" what is really there via some software or even a website? Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe that's all the higher that software CAN check, indicating "greater
than 1.102Ghz." If there's a minimim that it needs, perhaps once it detects
at least that much and is satisfied, it stops looking.

PC Pitstop, a free on-line health check. CPU speed is included.

It has now become a part of my standard tool kit. I run it frequently after
the usual PC clear-out and maintenance routine.
