What is MSXML 3.0 SP4 ?

I have been trying to install Kazaa and I keep getting
this window that says MSXML 3.0 SP4 Installer in the
title bar with a C:\ prompt screen in it, and a small
dialog box pops up in front of that and says that I must
reboot before the program will work. Needless to say,
when I reboot and try to open Kazaa it tells me
that "Kazaa has detected that some components are
missing, possibly due to not re-booting after
installation, please re-boot and try again. If you get
this same message, please re-install Kazaa. Kazaa will
now close." I have tried re-booting, re-installing, un-
installing, downloading again, installing, etc. I always
come up with the same result. I even had a friend make a
copy of the program and components onto a disk and I
installed into my computer off of that disk, all with the
same end result. What can I do!!!!!????

Search MSXML 3.0 SP4 in Google. Numerous links -
although I didn't see Kazza mentioned in the ones I went
to. MSXML is refered to as a MicroSoft XML parser which is
probably a tool used by web builders using eXtensible
(eXtended ???)Markup Language.

Further - I've seen Kazaa mentioned in previous posts here
and on other forums as being known for installing spyware
during its own installation.

Find Ad-Aware and Spybot via Google. Both free. Update
and use both programs a couple of times a week.

they have been infected previously. Go for WINMX instead.
They are much safer.
