What is loaded when xp boots up?

My pc seems to be dragging alot when I boot up. How am I
able to see what is being loaded when I boot up? I am
familar with the task manager and the processes...but
isnt there something I can run to diagnose what programs
are booted up when I turn on my pc? Thank you
