What is LDAP command line to query entire directory ?

Hi ,

May i know what is the LDAP command line to query entire directory?

example one forest have mutiple domain call domainA , domainB . So what is
the LDAP command to query object at domainA and domainB.

for that you need to talk to the GC

e.g. using ADFIND:

ADFIND -GC -b "" -f "(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user))" -dn

would return all users in the forest by distinguished name
