What is happening? KAV updated 3 times today?

I have received Kaspersky Av updates already 3 times today, one in the
morning at 8 when first opened machine , then 11.30 o'clock and now at
13.30. Seems to be a lot of virus activity. Update for Blaster.B came
already in the morning. (and a heuristic detection for the latest MS
BMP-exploit seems to have been included also).

what's wrong with that? you don't want updates???

It is absolute fine it gets updated, I was just curious why it is so
active, if there is several major epidemics going on. If I update now
manually (with the updater-utility it still downloads new updates
18.58. Maybe it is getting the same updates over and over???

There is of course the new NetSky.B which has emerged today and is a
level 2 risk
