Michael

I understand the Microsoft beta Spyware Removal Tool is
ending in December. What are Microsoft's plans after
December in terms of new version or going to have to buy
it? Looking at this from a Corporate view..

they have no clue when beta 2 or final version will be
release. ever since beta 1 was release they haven't gave
any release date. but there expecting us to wait for a
very long long long time.

Well Michael, it has been said that beta 2 should be out before years end,
so there is some hope there. As for final version, I am speculating
personally that it won't be ready probably until Internet Explorer 7 XP SP2
goes final in March of 2006 and since MSAS is suppose to probably include
technologies that interface with IE 7 it would be more like then. Also,
Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PC's won't be released until March of next
year, and its obvious that maybe Microsoft wants to bundle IE 7 and MSAS
with that for corporate customers.

Hi again ;)

Well, I think so, these "red accounts" for security support, MSAS
and "One Care" must be filled with $$$ again and of course MS waits
with MSAS ! We are also now in a period with Beta testing for all
major security products and now this is a "cat & rat" game.

All other vendors really tries to see how IE7, "One Care", MSAS
are working and to beat it.

There are definitely checkpoints where the programs you mention need to
coincide--I'm just not buying your specific reading, not the thought in
general <G>
