My boyfriend shut off the feature on my computer that I would like to
re-activate. When I am typing/filling in information on a website for example
or a password, after I type the first 3 letters or so, a screen drops down
allowing me to select from it rather than type the whole thing out. I don't
know what this is called in order to look up how to reactivate it. Can anyone
help me?

Thanks,
Rhonda

It's called AutoComplete and can be setup using Internet Options. Access
Internet Options from an IE windows (Tools> Internet Options) or from
Control Panel. On the Content page there is a button labeled AutoComplete.
Click it. On the next screen, select the options that you want IE to
"remember."

There is also AutoComplete for the address bar (separate but similar
feature). That setting is also in Internet Options but on the Advanced
page. Scroll down to "inline AutoComplete" and check the box if you'd like
to use this feature.

Start Internet Explorer.
Select: Tools > Internet Options > Content tab > AutoComplete button
Check the boxes for:
Web_addresses
Forms
User names and passwords on forms
