I have a choice of two drivers for my new video card. One says "WHQL"
the other driver says exactly the same thing but no (w/out) "WHQL ".
What's "WHQL "? What driver should I use?

Google would probably give you an answer quicker than posting here. But I
think it means it's certified by MS. I'd need to check myself though...

One should download and install the driver that is most applicable to
the situation. Is the update really needed? If so, take note that the
WHQL version might not be the latest for the video card...just the one
that has been certified by Microsoft for Windows....and perhaps also
obsolete for the situation. Consequently, one should always read the
manufacturer's release notes before determining which driver to use.
