What is a multi-part form sometimes mentioned in a printer manual.

Those are those forms that have several layers, and make duplicates
while being printed.

Banks use them, for example, to retain instant copies of bank checks.

They work with impact type printers, dot matrix or daisy wheel. Not
inkjets or lasers.

When you get your W-2 forms from employer, the several copies of the
form are held together and were printed all at one time on an impact
printer..... most of the time.
