windows software suggestion
Get Virtualdub www.virtualdub.org and Most probably the DV
VFW codec here
http://users.tpg.com.au/mtam/install_panvfwdv.htm

Open avi. Then Use Video -> Filters -> Add -> hsv adjust.
if filters is not available choose Full Processing Mode from
Video drop down menu.

remember to choose a Video codec to save with or your AVI
will attempt to save uncompressed (ie. mega multi gigabyte).
Video -> Compression and choose preferred codec.

Just what the doctor ordered! Many thanx! Easy to use, too. My main
problem was that my less-than-ideal Pentax Optio S4 shirt-pocket camera
takes darker .AVI videos than I prefer. They look brighter on the
LCD screen of the camera than on my monitor. Now, they are fine
after some manipulation. DivX gives the tightest compression and still
looks great.
