What image format is the best to save slide files?

What is the best image format to save slides to make a movie file? JPEG,
JIF etc etc????

I've saved the images as JPEGS but any lettering or typefaces become fuzzy,
even using high resolution.

your photos are all shrunk down to 640x480 or 320x240 when you make a video

if the type doesn't end up at least 20pts or so after the shrinking (text in
a photo), it won't look so hot because there won't be many pixels to go
around.

JPG should be fine - but make sure the text is BIG
