What Has happened to Hosts.

On Win98 I used the c:\windows\hosts to redirect urls to a local server for
testing. I upgraded to XP, the hosts file is still there but does not seem
to work.

Can anybody tell me how I can do this.

Hi Alan,
Try to Copy and Paste the Hosts file from the path C:\windows\Hosts to the
correct one for XP which is C:\windows\System32\drivers\etc. for the system
to correctly read the hosts file and be able to Block/Allow websites as you
wish.
Then when all okay delete the old file from the C:\windows.
