What happened to the MS Access Replica?

Did Microsoft dump the Replica feature in Access 2007? And what happened to
those who used it all these years with the past version? are they suppose to
stay with these past versions until Microsoft decides not to support them any
more? this is very frustrating! can someone tell me what MS is doing?

you were supposed to move to SQL Server a long time ago
