What happened to pricelessware.org?

I don't know if it's just me or a temporary glitch but I cannot access
www.pricelessware.org anymore. Is it gone for good?
I've read a little bit about the ongoing and apparently irresolvable
problems between Genna and Susan but is this really the end of the
pricelessware project? I wouldn't want that...

Temporary glitch.

The host had scheduled maintenance overnight, but ran into an unexpected
problem on that specific server.
They are working to bring all of the sites on that server back online as
quickly as possible.

I wonder if the plug was pulled?? I tried a few links to get to the
site, but all say that the page cannot be found. :~(

I get that way too, sometimes. :o)

Actually the reason I was looking for it was to see if there is a program
that will write 0's and 1's to an individual file to delete it untraceable.
Giving away an old computer can be formatted of course but sometimes that is
a little extreme.

I just re-subscribed to alt.comp.freeware to ask the same question, did a

Look for "Eraser"

As jo has recommended, Eraser is excellent.

Update:

The "unexpected problem" turns out to have been a hard drive failure
resulting from a RAID control failure on the server. They are currently
working on moving all the data from all the sites to another server.

Genna explained the temporary problem.
