The kids have been using counterstrike. The computer kept
running a disk check on start-up. An error report was
being sent everytime saying that it was the device
driver.I found my NVIDIA was Ge Force2 TNT model 64. I
went to the site, downloaded the update and now
everything is huge and the blue box does not fill my
screen completely, as it did before. The opening message
(upon start-up)read that space was now limited and I have
reduce the size of my icons to return some of my desktop
items or remove some thing!??? Did I do something wrong?
I tried to adjust the size of the icons at the "New
NVIDIA desktop manager" (I feel like someone took over my
old manager...eyach!) and was told this was normal (100%)
size. lowering it to 75% I lost readability. There is
some noticable intensity in the graphics (haven't looked
at the game yet), I guess, but I
am afraid the loss of an inch on either side of the
screen and the larger icons are disconcerting. Please
guide...

Many thank yous!

Sounds like your resolution was set down to a smaller size. Right click ont
he desktop, choose properties, select settings, and raise the screen
resolution.
